#AHORA

Photography by: William Frederking

"Working with the theme of awakening and the difference between living & existing. I thrive to embody the process of being a manifestation of the source; being alive. Through the body I will work on concepts such as: source, energy (getting out of body), battle between ego & self and finally being. Inspired in my meditative spiritual practices I expect to raise consciousness and bring hope to all those souls that are looking for light and to say that is possible to see/rise in love with your true colors. This idea began after a trip to the Nazca Lines in Peru where the question “Where do we come from?” came to mind, followed by the idea “Who am I?” and later experiencing looking at the colors of the leaves brighter (awakening, opening third chakra, being alive). I would like to transport people into a meditative, non-judgmental way in which the body becomes the vehicle of communication. A transitional state where senses have to pay attention in order to experience. I am going for the experience of going through this process with me. I want the audience to feel they are not part of this universe anymore, to transport them into the experience of not knowing what is happening. The audience should be able to disconnect themselves from a theater setting and have a conversation with me, through the movement. For this, light & sound will be key to set a meditative, transformational, out of this place experience." -Camila Rivero Pooley
